About This Program

Agency · Dignity · Health is a clinically informed and structured psychoeducation program that builds mental-health literacy, systems awareness, practical skills, and personal agency. It is education only—not therapy, diagnosis, treatment, crisis care, or a substitute for qualified mental health care.

Evidence-Based Stigma Reduction

Three forces that help diminish stigma

Stigma is not reduced by information alone. Stronger approaches combine accurate understanding, meaningful human connection, and practical ways of responding with dignity.

Accurate Understanding

Clear, honest education can correct myths and reduce fear about serious mental illness, substance use, and chronic illness.

Human Connection

Respectful contact, lived-experience stories, and shared humanity can reduce social distance and challenge stereotypes.

Supportive Skills

Person-first language, empathy, reflection, and practical response skills help people act with greater respect and dignity.
